You may have noticed a button missing from the toolbar in FIG. Its the disk upload button that allowed you to upload images directly from your hard disk to the server.
After being exploited by a few people, it had to be removed for security reasons. I still plan to offer this feature in the future after I figure out how to block illicit use from wiping out the site.
You can still upload images from website such as Flickr, Photobucket, etc. as those images can be verified as valid before they reach the FIG servers.
